Welcome to Our New Website!
The Bee Charmer is a small, family owned business specializing in honeybee and wasp removals from homes and businesses. We operate a small apiary located approximately 30 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas. We maintain hives in four surrounding counties.
We bottle and sell our pure Texas honey, creamed honey and other products from the hive.
We are pleased to do bee colony and swarm removal work. It allows us to help those that need our expertise and gives us the opportunity to help the beleaguered honeybee. Captured bees are added to our apiary yards. We strive to use humane methods of removal and avoid the use of pesticides. We are members of the American Bee Federation, Texas Beekeepers Association and the Collin County Hobby Beekeepers Association. We are licensed by the Texas Structural Pest Control Board. License # 13530
Janet Rowe is a third generation beekeeper. She learned to love and care for honeybees from her father. At the age of four she began helping her dad tend his hives in the orchard of their small Michigan farm. Janet grew up with a knack for growing things and a love for God’s creatures. In the early 1980’s she was finally able to have hives of her own.
Janet has been selling her honey products for a number of years. A few years ago it was apparent that she needed to acquire a Structural Pest Control License so that she could remove honeybees from people’s homes. Her husband Jim is also licensed and assists with removals.
RemovalsWe offer professional removal of bees from commercial property, homes, out buildings, trees or wherever bees have made a bad choice for a new home. Bees are captured alive and relocated to a hive in one of our bee yards whenever possible. We are insured and licensed by the Texas Structural Pest Control Board. License # 13530. We service all areas of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Please read more here about our removal services.
